Retired, Dr. Alan H. Golden is a 1974 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Baltimore, Maryland. He completed his residency in pediatric dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center – University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in 1976.
Initially working for another pediatric dental practice and teaching at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, Dr. Golden opened his own practice in Dale City in July, 1979 and has practiced there since. In July of 1995, Dr. Golden opened an additional office in the Town of Dale City.
Dr. Golden has been a Board Eligible Pediatric Dentist and Active Member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry since 1976 and has served on various committees over the last 25 years. Dr. Golden currently holds teaching positions in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the Medical College of the Virginia School of Dentistry and the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Golden is currently responsible for the dental education of Pediatric Residents at Inova Fairfax Hospital for Children. Dr. Golden is currently on the medical staff of five area hospitals; Children’s Hospital in D.C., Inova Fairfax and Inova Fair Oaks Hospitals, Potomac Hospital, and Prince William Hospital. Dr. Golden is a member of numerous professional organizations and held many positions of responsibility among them.
